- Marketing preferences, when you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.

Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers necessary to fulfil our operations (payment processors, shipping carriers, transactional email), under strict contractual safeguards. See our Terms for order-related processing.
Retention
We keep your data as long as necessary to manage your account, orders and legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

Acceptance
By visiting terredorientdubai.com and placing an order, you accept these general terms of sale. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your order. We reserve the right to modify them at any time; modifications do not apply to orders already placed.
Legal capacity
By placing an order, you declare that you have the legal capacity to contract, in particular that you are of legal age or have the authorization of a legal representative.
Ordering process
- Select products and add to cart.
- Review order summary (products, prices, shipping fees).
- Payment.
- A confirmation email summarizing your order is sent to you; this summary is binding between the parties.
Orders
Each order is subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, in particular in case of pricing error or suspected fraud. You will be notified and refunded promptly as described below.
Prices & payment
Prices are displayed in the currency selected at checkout, taxes included where applicable. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is captured upon order confirmation.
Shipping
We deliver to the destinations listed on our shipping page. Indicated timeframes are indicative; we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
Right of withdrawal
In accordance with applicable law, you have 14 days from receipt to return unopened products in their original packaging.
Hygiene exception: perfumes and cosmetic products whose packaging, protective film or seal has been removed, opened or damaged cannot be taken back or refunded, for hygiene and health protection reasons.
Refund terms: once the return is received and verified as compliant, the refund is issued within 14 days via the same payment method used for the order. Return costs are the buyer's responsibility, except for defective products or errors on our part.
Legal warranty and defective products
In case of non-conforming or defective product upon delivery, you may contact us at sami.zgueb@terredorientdubai.com / +216 22 239 139 within 14 days to obtain a replacement, credit or refund, as applicable.
Intellectual property
All content on this site (names, photographs, texts, packagings) belongs to Terre d'Orient and may not be reproduced without written authorization.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of your order. We are not responsible for indirect losses.
Force majeure
We cannot be held responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations resulting from force majeure (strike, natural disaster, carrier failure, administrative decision, etc.).

Complaints and disputes
For any complaint, first contact us at sami.zgueb@terredorientdubai.com / +216 22 239 139. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Tunis.

These terms are governed by Tunisian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Tunis.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping
We ship from our atelier in Tunis. Orders placed before 3 PM Tunis time are dispatched the same business day. You will receive a tracking number by email once your parcel is shipped.

Shipping is free above the free-shipping threshold shown in your cart and at checkout, and on every order when free shipping is enabled for the whole store.
These timeframes are indicative and may vary depending on carriers or customs formalities beyond our control.
Customs and import duties: for deliveries outside Tunisia, customs duties, taxes or import fees may be applied by the destination country's authorities. These fees are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the order price.
Lost or undelivered parcel: if your parcel has not arrived within the indicated timeframe, contact us at contact@terredorientdubai.com with your order number; we will open an investigation with the carrier.
Incorrect address: if an incorrect delivery address was provided at checkout, reshipping fees are the customer's responsibility.
Returns
You may return any product unopened and with its original seal/protective film intact within fourteen days of receipt for a full refund. For hygiene reasons, any bottle that has been unsealed or had its protective packaging removed cannot be returned or refunded.
To initiate a return, write to contact@terredorientdubai.com with your order number. We will provide the return address and instructions.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, except in the case of a damaged or incorrect item.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days after receipt and inspection of the returned parcel, to the original payment method.
Damaged or incorrect items
If a parcel arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact contact@terredorientdubai.com within 48 hours, ideally with a photo of the product and packaging. We cover return costs and will arrange a replacement or refund.
Final-sale items
Engraved bottles, bespoke compositions and gift cards are not eligible for return, except in the case of a proven defect.
